Google removes 25 malware apps from its Play Store, make sure this are not in your phone
Google has reportedly removed 25 apps from its Play Store that were stealing user’s Facebook credentials. The security researcher pointed out the way malware works. First, it wait for the user to launch an app on their device, that’s made by Facebook. Then it redirect to fake Facebook login page.Users would then put in their Facebook login credentials and the malware would copy them and send them to its designated server.
These apps were available in the form ofcard games to file managers to step counters and even a flashlight app. All this app contained the same malicious code.The list of the malicious apps include:

- Classic Card Game
- Junk File Cleaning
- Synthetic Z
- File Manager
- Composite Z
- Screenshot Capture
- Daily Horoscope Wallpapers
- Wuxia Reader
- Plus Weather
- Anime Live Wallpaper
- iHealth Step Counter

Although this Apps have been removed by Google, but if you have already downloaded this Apps on device, you should delete them.
Notably, this is not the first time that Google has removed malicious apps from its Play Store. Earlier 2018-2019, the tech giant in a blog post revealed that Google had removed 7,00,000 malicious Android apps from Play Store. Google have always been doing its best to make sure there aren’t any harmful apps on its app market. Before download any App always make sure the apps you’re installing are legitimate.
